It is also on the northern tip of Balsam Lake, and the southernmost point of the Gull River drainage system, a major system for controlling the Trent-Severn Waterway. Coboconk is a friendly, rich in history town that can be a final destination or a starting point for a beautiful autumn trip to see the fall colours.
