Coboconk is located on the border of the geographic townships of Bexley and Somerville, at the junction of Highway 35 and Kawartha Lakes Road 48. It is also on the northern tip of Balsam Lake, and the southernmost point of the Gull River drainage system, a major system for controlling the Trent-Severn Waterway.
