Watch for flooding

The snow is melting, so be on the lookout for high water levels. 

91.9 reported, "The City of Kawartha Lakes is reminding residents who live or have property near flood prone areas to subscribe to its municipal flooding news and take proactive steps to prepare for the season."

Remember to be very careful with high water levels. Most importantly, do not try to drive through roads that are significantly flooded. Keep children and pets away from the edge of any bodies of water.
