That's 13% lower than last year but still 17% above the long-term average. The striped bass population is over 1 million - and Outdoor Canada said, "Striped bass population in New Brunswick’s legendary Miramichi River, up from 50,000 just 10 years ago, according to the Miramichi Salmon Association."
