Rain on its way

Date: 09/09/2018 | Source: http://kawarthanow.com

There is a lot of rain headed our way! KawarthaNow reported, "As the remnants of tropical depression Gordon move into southern Ontario, the rain could be heavy at times with total rainfall amounts in the 30 to 60 mm range possible by Tuesday morning." Keep an eye on the weather alerts and make sure you bring everything inside that you need to! Remember, don't drive into large puddles and take precautions to avoid hydroplaning.

Significant rainfall expected Monday from remnants of tropical depression Gordon

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the most southern areas of Ontario, including Northumberland County in the Kawarthas, for possible significant rainfall on Monday (September 10) and Monday night. As the remnants of tropical depression Gordon move into southern Ontario, the rain could be heavy at times with total rainfall amounts in the 30 to 60 mm range possible by Tuesday morning.
