Tears, laughter and fond memories showed the closeness that exists in the Kawartha Lakes Police Service as the force said goodbye to one chief and welcomed another. Hundreds of officers and other emergency responders, family, friends, dignitaries and business people came to the Victoria Park Armouries for the official change of command ceremony on Thursday, Aug. 30.
