Kawartha Lakes community asked to help 12-year-old boy battling cancer

OSHAWA — Kathy Tomasik is hoping the community will rally to help her young nephew who is in a battle for his life. Tomasik, of Lindsay, said Aiden Mitchell, 12, is fighting cancer for the third time in five years, and while the province will cover the cost to send him to Philadelphia for specialized treatment, “his family needs all the help they can get with their expenses.”
