Hurrah, the highway is back!

How often do you get to hear that highway construction is a month ahead of schedule? The work on Highway 35 in Kawartha Lakes is nearly done! "In a release, the City says the Ministry of Transportation confirmed that the Stoney Creek culvert replacement project is finished and all lanes of the busy highway about 6 kilometres south of Lindsay are now reopen." We will keep you updated on any more major construction projects, but for now it's smooth driving!

Highway 35 lanes reopen in City of Kawartha Lakes

Construction on a section of Highway 35 in the City of Kawartha Lakes is now complete – nearly a month ahead of schedule. In a release, the City says the Ministry of Transportation confirmed that the Stoney Creek culvert replacement project is finished and all lanes of the busy highway about 6 kilometres south of Lindsay are now reopen.
