How Kawartha Lakes is helping the environment

The city of Kawartha Lakes is looking to make some environmental changes. 

The Lindsay Advocate reported, "A motion brought forward by Councillor Kathleen Seymour-Fagan to Committee of the Whole on May 7 proposed looking at a possible Styrofoam ban."

Single use plastics may also be considered in the future.
