Event for the Environment

This October 14th there will be an event at Ken Reid Conservation Area celebrating Canada 150 by raising environmental awareness. The organizer of the event said, “This is going to be a really fun way to come out and celebrate Canada's 150th birthday by exploring our natural heritage spaces and local wildlife, and discovering our watershed's environmental issues, initiatives and organizations.” If you want to support the Kawartha Conservation Foundation, be there from 1-5pm and experience hands-on environmental displays, guided hikes, and two live animal shows. Supporting our beautiful environment is so important, and this event will make it fun!

Special Canada 150 event celebrates the environment
