Elk on the loose

If you see an elk nearby, the good news is you're probably not hallucinating. One escaped from a farm in the Lindsay area and officials are not trying to recapture it, that job goes to the owner. MyKawartha reported, "Spokesperson Yolanta Kowalski said Thursday the ministry is aware of the incident but it is the owner’s responsibility to recapture escaped farm animals. The elk’s owner is trying to locate the animal and recapture it." Don't get too close! These animals are very strong and can be dangerous. Hopefully it will find its way back home soon! There is always something interesting happening around here!
