Date: 06/06/2018 | Source: http://globalnews.ca

The fishing in Kawartha Lakes is spectacular - but make sure you are fishing legally! There were recently over 140 fishing violations in the area including fishing without a license and fishing in illegal areas. "Officers were also checking anglers for possession of invasive species and ensuring they were complying with public safety laws for fishing in sanctuaries on land and in waters." Have fun, but do your research first!
