Community meeting on March 13

On March 13 there will be a community meeting on the topic of housing and homelessness in Kawartha Lakes. 

MyKawartha reported, "The city has taken the position that housing, both ownership and rental, are said to be affordable if the accommodation costs or rent does not exceed 30 per cent of gross annual household income for low- or moderate-income households."

Some new units may be put up as a result of this meeting, so have your voice heard! The meeting is from 9:00-2:00 at the Ops Community Centre.
