Blanding’s Turtles are staying put!

Date: 11/03/2017 | Source: http://earthroots.org

Mr. Gord Miller, who was previously the Environmental Commissioner of Ontario. testified that wetland complexes must be afforded a higher degree of protection and they can't be isolated.  With this decision, a housing complex will not be placed in the Kawarthas, and that stretch of shoreline will stay undeveloped. The good news is that though there may not be more housing going up, we can help you find the perfect waterfront property! Plus, maybe you can spot some amazing Blanding's Turtles in your backyard!
