KawarthaNow is kind enough to keep us updated on beach conditions in the area all summer. Currently, Riverview Beach Park in Bobcaygeon, Hastings South in Campbellford area, Bewdley Beach in Port Hope/Cobourg area, and Harwood Beach in Port Hope/Cobourg area are unsafe for swimming. This is based on water quality tests done weekly at the beaches. Luckily, there are plenty of other places to go for a swim and beat the heat!
Every Friday during swimming season, we post a weekly report of the results of water quality testing at beaches in the Kawarthas.
