Kawartha Lakes council discusses downtown improvements

There is an important City of Kawartha Lakes council meeting at 2pm on Tuesday, March 20. MyKawartha.com reported, "Tuesday’s meeting will include a followup discussion on a downtown improvement plan that would require the city to put up $500,000. It’s expected the municipality would get that money back over time. However, they need to act on it quickly in order to get matching funds from the province." Meeting times may also be changed to evenings instead of afternoons. Attend to have your voice heard!
