Best of Broadway 4

What: Triple Threat Theatre presents the Best of Broadway 4. This tribute to the joys of theatre is a compilation of songs and scenes from traditional to more modern presentations. Enjoy pieces from new favourites like Shrek, and Ghost to the classic shows such as A Chorus Line, Mary Poppins, and Little Shop of Horrors

When: (Three shows) Saturday, August 20 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, August 21 at 2:00 p.m.

Kawartha Settlers' Village Bobcaygeon Craft Beer and Food Festival

What: Come out for the inaugural Bobcaygeon craft beer and food festival

When: Saturday, August 20, from noon to 7:00 p.m.

Where: Kawartha Settlers' Village at 85 Dunn Street in Bobcaygeon

Admission: Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door

More about the Craft Beer and Food Festival: The event features seven craft breweries, serving over 20 different kinds of beer, food vendors, and neighbourhood artists. Live entertainment throughout the day will be Bobcaygeon local, Kelly Burrows and Woodville natives, The James Barker Band. Each ticket includes a 6-ounce beer glass and tokens for two drinks. A special $10 designated driver rate is available at the door. Concerts in the Park Lindsay- Featuring the Usual Suspects

What: The Usual Suspects will play in a free outdoor concert as part of Lindsay’s 25th annual Concerts in the Park series

When: Sunday, August 21, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. (Concerts take place Sunday afternoons from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. during July and August. You can also enjoy concerts on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.)

Where: Victoria Park, Lindsay, 210 Kent Street West. Grab a blanket or your lawn chair and head to Victoria Park for some free live music in a tranquil outdoor setting
