Only a Few Performances Remain in Concerts in the Park Series

Date: 08/21/2015
The Concerts in the Park series takes place Sunday afternoons from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in Victoria Park in downtown Lindsay. Musicians and audience members gather at the Frank Banks Gazebo within the park for the concerts. The free concerts provide a fun and economical night out for the whole family while supporting some great local talent. For a complete listing of all of the bands taking part in the annual concert series, please visit www.city.kawarthalakes.on.ca. It’s not too late, grab your lawn chair, a blanket, and some friends and have a toe-tapping good time, there are just a few concerts remaining in the series:
  • Sunday, August 23 – Gary Peters (Country)
  • Wednesday, August 26 – Rezonator (Progressive Rock and Blues)
  • Sunday, August 30 – Gord Magee & The Blue Sky Fliers (Country, Irish and Bluegrass)
Nothing beats enjoying a summer evening listening to the sound of live music floating through the warm summer air. Take in one of the final concerts in the series before the summer comes to a close and the colder weather takes hold.
