Why millennials should move to Kawartha Lakes!

Kawartha Lakes got a bad rap on a website ranking the most attractive cities for millennials. We ranked 84/85 on the list, but MyKawartha.com thinks that is wrong! The annual millennial income here is $86,630 which is absolutely above average! This is also a great place to raise a family connected with nature. Boating in the summer on the lakes can't be beat! The list was based on numbers and statistics, but what it didn't take into account is that our city has a lot of heart! Well … it’s not like we came in last. A ranking of 85 Canadian cities, compiled by a Saskatchewan-based real estate think tank, puts the City of Kawartha Lakes as No. 84 in its list of 2018 millennial hot spots.
