There's a new contest happening in Kawartha Lakes! MyKawartha.com said, "Leisha Newton, economic development officer for the city, says Downtown Dreams is designed to further enhance the downtowns in Coboconk or Norland, Fenelon Falls, Lindsay, and Omemee. Applicants can enter a contest, which runs for the next two weeks, to vie for a piece of the project’s $124,300 budget." We would all love to see empty storefronts fill with thriving business! If you have a business idea, apply online by March 23! 

Downtown Dreams contest kicks off in Kawartha Lakes

A business growth program to give certain downtowns in Kawartha Lakes a boost kicked off with a launch at city hall on Friday, March 2. Leisha Newton, economic development officer for the city, says Downtown Dreams is designed to further enhance the downtowns in Coboconk or Norland, Fenelon Falls, Lindsay, and Omemee.
