Cottage Life

Here, we'll share with you many of our experiences of life in the Kawarthas. Indeed, for twenty years, we spent virtually every weekend here. And now, having left Toronto, we live on Balsam Lake year-round. As full-time residents, we will share our stories about our experiences and experiments in the Kawarthas, from organic vegetable gardening and chicken coop construction - to building a backyard skating rink, barbecuing, canning local produce, and finding interesting spots to shop in the best part of Ontario cottage country.
