Community Invited to Information Meeting for Heritage Conservation Districts

Date: 04/06/2016
The city has engaged Bray Heritage Consultants to undertake heritage conservation district studies for downtown Lindsay and the Oak Street neighbourhood in Fenelon Falls. There is growing interest and recognition of the value of heritage conservation districts as a way to ensure that we maintain our most cherished historic areas for future generations and that future development does not compromise the characteristics and features that are important to our communities. On Saturday, April 23, 2016, Bray Heritage Consultants will hold a community information meeting to talk about heritage conservation districts, and to answer any questions the public may have about the two studies currently underway. The session will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the meeting room at Community Care Village Housing, 65 Melbourne St. W., in Lindsay.
