In Lindsay 12th Annual St. John Ambulance Christmas Craft Sale

When: Saturday, December 5, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Where: Victoria Park Armoury, 210 Kent Street West, Lindsay

The finds: Over 60 vendors from across Ontario will offer a variety of crafts – from hand-sewn and hand-knit clothing and household wares to wheat-woven decorative items to paper novelties, Christmas wreaths, decorations, homemade holiday baking, and jewelry. There will also be door prizes, a draw, and lunch. Admission is $2.00 and proceeds support St. John Ambulance and City of Kawartha Lakes United Way. In Fenelon Falls A Holiday Sale by the Barn and Bunkie

This weekend, the Kawarthas offers activities and parades to put you and your family in the holiday spirit. Here are a couple of things to do this weekend in the Kawarthas:

Kinmount Christmas in the Village

Free family fun on Saturday, December 5. There will be activities all day, including the following:

• breakfast with Santa at St. James Anglican Church on Crego Street, from 8:30 a.m to 11:00 a.m.
• farmer’s market at the Kinmount Community Centre, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
• Christmas Open House and Crafts for Kids on the upper level of the Kinmount Community Centre
• Kinny Elf Hunt with free prizes for kids at each location. (Watch for flyers, which will be available around town.) And there will be a special prize at Kinmount Artisans Marketplace
• Santa will visit the Legion. (Meet up with everyone at 2:00 p.m. at the post office and follow Santa to the Legion)
• family lunch and gifts for children aged 10 and under at the Legion at 2:00 p.m.
